Mailchimp Icon Redesign & Library

After our rebrand, we were in need of an icon refresh. We had 2.5 legacy icon styles floating around various parts of the web and mobile apps. On top of that…we were using an icon font which made development somewhat easy but they rendered terribly and were so tedious to add or remove.

Fuzzco established a new icon language for us and I stepped in to redraw all of those icons at 24 x 24 and get a new set of icon guidelines so others could easily contribute.

On top of that, we created an SVG library for Figma and React so that we only had one source of truth for icons moving forward.

We now have over 180 icons for the product and counting.
